ABOUT L'ACAJOU

L’acajou is a neighborhood bakery and café in Oakland’s Woodminster neighborhood. Our goal is simple. We make fresh baked goods, breakfast, lunch, and coffee that feel comforting, consistent, and easy to enjoy any day of the week.

We bake and prepare everything in-house with high quality ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible. Pastries, breads, sandwiches, salads, and seasonal specials are made daily and served in a warm, welcoming space.​

L’acajou has grown because of people who return, bring friends, and support a local café that focuses on good food, kind service, and a calm pace. Creating that experience is at the center of what we do.
